The Story of Barr & Vandy

Jay Baron (Barr) and Yvette Vandiver (Vandy) are a husband and wife artist duo. In 2023 they began traveling the country in an RV full time and participating in juried fine art shows throughout the Southwestern and Western US. The RV is home to the couple, a means of exploring the natural wonders of the US and a mobile studio for the artists.

Jay's expert fly tying and artistic skills allow him to create imaginative, decorative flies as well as functional artistic fly patterns. All the flies are blown up on a much larger scale than a fly used for fishing and liberties taken with colors to create a work of art. All flies are hand matted and framed in rustic barn wood. Custom creations are available upon request.

Yvette's jewelry aesthetic could be described as simple, elegant, delicate and inspired by nature and organic forms. Sterling silver, 14 karat gold fill, freshwater pearls and gemstones are used to create one of a kind pieces. Custom designs are available.
